Busy Exciting Weekend and March Madness!

Every year in early spring there is a Career Conference for beauty consultants. I never miss it. It is my favorite event by far in my business! I'm pleased that I have some spare time to write before I leave. I have to drive about 2 hrs or so to get to the conference. Since I took today off I decided to take care of some other business as well. I thought I wouldn't be done til 11 or 12, but my eye appointment went smoothly and I was in and out of the lab getting my thyroid tested. That's nice work!
There's still a little packing left for me to do, but the hardest part was actually clearing out my totes to make room to pack! I know that is sad. My overnight bag was still packed up from my bride fair way back in January! Oops! Now I'm all organized again. I was hoping to have my new laptop by now, but I'm still waiting on my tax refund. Fortunately, I have my handy dandy BlackBerry and I will be able to access both of my blogs with that! So, perhaps I will get to write some tonight. We'll see.
Cleveland State made it into the NCAA playoffs for the first time in 23 yrs! This is a little exciting to me since it is my alma mater. Unfortunately, I will be at the conference when that game is on. If it ends at 10, I will probably get to catch a little of the game afterward. :) That would be cool. I'm not a huge sportsfan by any stretch, but when team I like is doing well, I get invovled. :)
I have some last minute items to pack and I have to finish putting my face on before I go. So this is all for now.
