All's Well that Ends Well

My day improved. My migraine and allergies were killing me most of the work day, but wouldn't you know, Wild Cherry Pepsi is a panacea for migraines and allergies? I had a 20 oz. bottle and was mystically able to tough out the rest of the day! I guess that was good; even though the rest of the day consisted of false accusations and other such nonsensical bullshit.

Finally, 5:00 arrived! I had so much to do! I hosted a Silpada jewelry party tonight. I wanted to get a fresh veggie tray if possible. I was unable to find one suitable, so I opted for things I already had. I had good salsa, some tortilla chips, and bought pretzels and cheese. I also bought some wine. I bought German Moselland Arsvitis Riesling and Gallo white Zinfandel. :)

Once I got home I made iced tea and got the food prepared. My Silpada rep came over and got set up. I managed to get a little cleaned up after my trying day. I washed my face which was smeared with makeup from my eyes being irritated all day. I am still having issues so no eye makeup, but I reapplied my foundation. I looked presentable.

My guests started arriving right on time. Two stood me up; one I am not surprised about. She does it all the time. For my party I had to get 10 orders totalling at least $500 so that I can get my free jewelry credit. Well, with just 5 in attendace I am up to $800! So, now I just need to collect 5 more orders. I think I can do this. I have a wish list so I'm kind of determined.

At one point I was considering signing up to sell Silpada just for a discount, however, it proves to be more costly than expected. The startup costs seem rather steep if you want to have anything on hand. Also, some of the people I invited and talked to about coming to my party are more interested in purchasing MK products from me than getting jewelry. So, for now, I may just be a seasonal jewelry hostess. ;)

In any case, the party was a smashing success in my opinion and everyone had a good time. It definitely helped to ease the pains of the office that I'd rather like to forget!
