Recently, I moved a book case into my home office that I got from my grandparents when they moved from their house into a condo. I love it. I used it at my apartment and it wasn't immediately moved from my parents' to my house when we got this place livable. It's kind of bare and I've been thinking of ways to make it more than just a book case. I have put one of our wedding photos in a frame in there and a figurine my brother got us for Christmas. I think I am going to use one shelf to display some MK products and maybe change that up seasonally. The top shelf has a cute beehive candle holder decoration that I bought from Home & Garden Party close to 5 years ago. I also put my favorite MK prize--Mary Kay Consultant Barbie--on there and a Longaberger candle holder with a Partylite candle inside. I thought it needed something more.
Last night I was at my parents' house and I remembered my grandma had given me my great-aunt's jewelry box
after she had died. I think this is a great piece to add for some contrast. I put it on the top of the book case and I think it is perfect and not too cluttered looking. I think I would like to hang something on the wall about the case as well. I just have to figure out what that would be. It needs to be something small...

VERY Pretty!
I like the cool new layout too!
Thanks! I love this 4 column option. And I'm not changing it again. It's too much trouble to update the widgets every time! :P
Now I have to figure out what to put inside that jewelry box. :)
Beautiful pictures! I need a new bookcase! I have something for you at my place. You Make My Day Award
