Yesterday, I was completely frustrated by my J-O-B that I honestly cannot stand. Today I did something about it. I was up half the night perfecting my resume and cover letter and today I faxed them along with a job application to the community college near my home. Sending that off felt glorious. Now, I will just pray they call me for an interview and HIRE me!!!
Even if they don't offer me as much pay as I make here (which I am fairly certain they actually pay more than this place does) I will be ahead. The overhead fees involved with working here are more of a financial burden than a benefit. The first ridiculous expense is parking. I pay roughly $50/mo to park! The other burden is gas prices. I'll be ahead even if the community college pays less (which I think they won't pay less). Either way, I can't lose...unless they don't hire me. :-S

Fingers and Toes Crossed! I would call and make sure they have received your resume and then I would call a few days later to ask if you can meet with them to discuss the job. Or instead of calling~I would go up there. Persistence!
