Too Early

I am up entirely too early on this Saturday. It's really hot and humid and sleep all night was difficult. I don't know if it was the heat or the stress. Hubby decided he wanted sheep this week and last night he disappeared for awhile and came home with two lambs. Yes. It's not a joke. He really went out and bought two lambs; a boy and a girl. I am beside myself right now. He is currently building a corral in the back yard. I told him no livestock. Apparently, what I think or want is unimportant. The garage now stinks to high hell. This is not a farm. I just don't understand. :(

Oyyyy! I hope this all works out somehow.

It's humid here too! WOW, in the last our it balmy and it's GLOOMY besides. We are touch-up painting the iniside of the house and doing detail cleaning. Fun times for a Sat, no?

Sorry about smelly garage. Have him bleach the floors after he moves them out and that might help.

What are city ordinances?

I'm not sure about city ordinances. We live in a township and from what I've experienced so far in this place is that it's pretty lawless. Considering there is an alpaca farm down the street, I think we are not violating anything, but I'm going to be looking into it.

Well, after reading the ordinance I found online, I would have to say it's OK as long as they aren't abused. All of the rules and regulations refer to animal cruelty laws and say nothing about whether or not you can have them. And I was looking at the CITY info. So, in the township I'd guess it would be the same. As long as they have enough room and are not being abused and are not a nuisance to the neighbors it's OK. http://www.amlegal.com/nxt/gateway.dll/Ohio/elyria_oh/partfive-generaloffensescode/chapter505animalsandfowl?f=templates$fn=altmain-nf.htm$q=livestock%20$x=server$3.0#LPHit1

Oh yea, not to mention there is NO NOISE ORDINANCE here. So I don't expect there to be many (or any) other ordinances here either.
