Feeling The Burn

Today I am feeling the work from last night's aerobics class. My triceps are burning a bit. We used resistance bands for a part of the class. We had been using hand weights. I think I feel more pain from the resistance band than the weights. I had to stop the movement a couple of times because it was sore. The resistance bands make me nervous, though. A few years ago I took that class and the resistance band slipped and got caught in my hair! (Don't ask) I had to ask a friend to help untangle the mess. Sometimes, I can be quite the klutz!
In any case, I can feel muscles waking up that have been sleep for a very long time. It will be a shock to my system to begin with, but I am pacing myself and I hope to get myself into decent shape by May--well, by April when I go on my cruise!

LOL--I know. I need to cool it. Maybe I'll do low/medium impact tomorrow. Yea, I'll stick with low impact tomorrow. Tonight I can relax a little. :)

Ohhh... Resistance bands. Fun stuff!! We haven't used them in Tuesday class for a while.
