Today marks a new month. It feels good to be through January. This is that time of winter where you can see the silver lining on the grey clouds. It is quite grey today, as a matter of fact, but not as cold as I'd expected. Supposedly there was an ice storm last night. I guess that was evidenced by the slushy stuff on the driveway as I was leaving for work this morning, but now it is rainy. It doesn't even feel extremely cold. I suppose that makes sense after a few days in the teens! Soon it will be March and spring will be almost here!
This morning I woke up at 6:00. I really wanted to stay in bed all day, but I took advantage of that on Monday. I have to pick and choose my sick days. Needless to say, I did not do a morning yoga routine. Last night I wound up staying up past midnight. I didn't want to do that, but sometimes, I just can't sleep. Now I feel just as tired as I did when I went to bed--but at least I don't feel worse. That has happened before (Monday).
I've decided I'm going to force myself to do a yoga routine at some point this evening. It's non-negotiable. Some type of yoga will happen. It's been a stressful week so I'm leaning toward the Candlelight relaxation yoga. :)
