Gearing Up For The 3 Day

I'm participating in The Breast Cancer 3 Day. It is a 60 mile walk funding the Susan G. Komen Foundation. I participated last year. The minimum required donation amount to walk is $2200 per person. It's a lot. Last year, I did not raise enough to actually walk the walk, but I did raise a few hundred dollars which felt good. Just being involved makes me feel good.
I have a website and a team. My team's name is Miracle Walkers. This Saturday I have my first Get Started Meeting. Last year, I didn't go to any of the meetings, but I think it was due to the simple fact that none were very close to where I live. Last year was the first year they held the walk in this area. I think they had a lot of learning to do as a result. This year seems like it may be more organized. I've received my team captain packet. Last year, I never got one!
Also, I've very excited because I have a team member and I'll meet her on Saturday. I'm excited about the walk again. I was thinking of throwing in the towel on this one. I didn't see myself getting anywhere with it, but now it seems to be looking up.
