I'm going to be posting a way to "Fight the Frump" every Friday. This is part of a project from Mrs. Fussypants'Blog. Each installment will have a list of different things I do to keep myself feeling sassy.
Since it's the dead of winter here and the snow just doesn't want to go away until next year; feeling free and easy and sassy is a challenge. Every day I want nothing more than to throw on some sweats and snowboots and head out. Now, because I work in an office setting, this is just unacceptable. I tend to feel my best in a sleek skirt and some sassy shoes, but that's just not practical in the snow. What can I do to accommodate? Hair and makeup! Woo hoo!
The first step to fighting the frump is to have a fresh face! I do my skin care routine daily to avoid breakouts and to keep myself looking and feeling young. My favorite skin care line is Mary Kay Time Wise Miracle Set!
So, I think I'll just show my favorites in a picture list:
This is the Miracle Set. It consists of a cleanser, moisturizer, day solution with SPF 25, and a night solution. I wear both the day and night solutions during the day. The night solution has acne-fighting benefits. :)
These items are a must if I get oily. The Blemish Control Toner eliminates the occasional zit and prevents new ones from even thinking about popping up to say hello!
The Even Complexion Essence helps keep me feeling smooth and keeps discolorations at a minimum. It keeps those pesky freckles under control!

My favorite foundation! Goes on easy and quick and covers better than a liquid! This is the final touch for a polished look. I don't feel a need for color makeup as long as I have on my foundation.
When I do this routine in the morning, I am ready to face the day and feel frump-free! I know, I'm a little biased because I'm a Mary Kay consultant, but let me just say, I don't rave about the products just because I'm a consultant. I became a consultant because I am so impressed with the results of using these products! I did look too young to vote on Tuesday! ;)

My favorite Mary Kay product of ALL time is the Blemish controller toner! Nothing will zap a zit like that stuff!
I have tried and really liked those.
Hello! The Blemish control toner is my secret weapon when I get a zit--which is rare ever since I started using MK. But even the worst breakout is gone within a day or so with that stuff! My all-time favorite is the Night Solution. I think that was the product that really made my scars disappear.
I am gonna have to try all of that stuff. I have been breaking out more than I did as a teenager.
I hope that you love it as much as I do! :)
