Hell Hath Frozen Over

At 2:30 we got an amazing call. The school would be closing at 3:00 p.m. due to the expected blizzard. I am so happy! They never close! They rarely cancel classes. They made the right choice. I know they waited until 3:00 because there are no classes later than that on Fridays. In any case, I got to leave early. It still took me nearly 2 hours to get home, but better to get home at 5:00 than leave at 5:00 and get home at 7:00.
This morning, for some reason, Hubby decided he wanted me to get my stereo from my parents' house and bring it here. He wants to hook it up to the TV for surround sound. Great. I did go get it, but his timing with these ideas is just ridiculous at times.
Now I'm home for the night (and possibly the weekend). I'm going to just relax. The snow is coming down steadily and supposedly it's going to just keep on going til Sunday morning! Hubby can figure out how to hook up the stereo and maybe we can watch that My Fair Lady DVD. ;)
