This morning I exercised my right to vote. It is always a liberating experience. What was even more liberating was when the woman at the table accused me of being 17! Ha! Never in a million years did I think I could pass for 17 anymore! It was too funny. Voting for the presidential delegates was the easy part. I voted in the Democratic primary. Boy, it felt nice to vote against Hillary Clinton. I just don't like her. I never have. The rest of the polls were ridiculous. They were for the smalltown politicians in our rinky dink county. Many of the offices only had one candidate running. I left some blank. I left the law enforcement ones blank. Frankly, I think they do a piss poor job. It's not like they'll lose anyway. Most were the only choices in their respective categories. I just wanted to show that none of them got my vote because they all suck donkey balls.
The voting process went quite smoothly. The only obstacle was almost having to convince the old lady at the table that I am indeed over 18...17 years old...HA! That totally gets me. I'm a little tickled by it, actually. I've been feeling like an old broad these days. It was a little refreshing to be accused of being too young to vote!
