White Easter

Can you believe that today is Easter, but it looks more like Christmas? Does this paint the picture of Easter to you?

-A fire burning in the fireplace.
-Jack Frost nipping at your nose.
-Snow covering the lawns and cars.
-Dodging snow in the church parking lot.
-Wearing longjohns and winter pants out and about.
-Freezing in general.

It's not the picture of Easter in my mind. When I think Easter I think of:

-Green.
-Spring.
-Flowers.
-Florals.
-Skirts and dresses.
-Sandals or at least a nice dress shoe (vs boots).
-Sunshine.
-Maybe a spring shower.
-Pastels.

Hope those of you in the colder regions are staying warm this Easter!
Happy Easter to all!

Fortunately, I got my cleaning done yesterday. I haven't bothered with the kitchen floor or the bathroom just yet. The dog is still a mudpig and Hubby says he's going to give him a bath. I'm not cleaning the bathroom to have it all muddied up instantly. Once he bathes the dog I'm tackling the turmoil.
The kitchen floor needs wiped down. I was going to do that yesterday. Would you believe Hubby wants to clean the floors? Hallelujah! ;)

I had a beautiful spring warm Easter here in California. Unfortunately, this was the first year in about 28 years that I didn't color Easter eggs the night before. I sure missed it. I did enjoy the beautiful Easter Eggs you show on your blog, thanks!

Hija4--I'm so jealous! We didn't color eggs either. My mom does every year even though we're all grown and moved out. Saturday night, Hubby said to me, when are we coloring eggs? LOL Had I known he was up for it, I would've prepared!

As for the picture, I wish I had that kind of skill when it comes to dying eggs! ;)

We had flurries too. Nothing stuck, but we were driving through flurries. :(

We had more than flurries. It started snowing Friday night, I believe and we had about 6" of snow by Saturday morning! Now, it's been warming up a little. The snow is melting. I hope it's melting for good!
