Spent

My energy is gone. I was up until 11:30 watching My Fair Lady. I would have stayed up and watched it all, but Hubby said let's go to bed. That was probably good. I'd be in even worse shape had I continued to watch. It wouldn not have ended until 1:00 a.m. Although I slept through the entire night, I still feel tired. Maybe it was because Hubby started talking about something and it prevented sleep. I don't remember what he was ranting about. Perhaps the economy again. It was probably midnight before I actually fell asleep. The alarm went off at 5:30 and I got out of bed about 20 minutes later.
I made it out the door on time, but traffic was horrible. I suppose traffic jams can be energy drainers. I was stopped in traffic for nearly half an hour. There were reports of a water main break, but the cause of this jam was a 3 or 4 car accident. They had two lanes closed on the highway and there were EMT's and fire trucks and police (of course) on the scene. If I had my camera with me, I would have gotten a shot of the action. Alas, I chose to leave it home.
As I was sitting in the traffic jam, I observed how pretty the trees looked with ice gleaming on the branches. It looked especially pretty with the morning sunlight shining through the ice. It gave the trees a pink hue. Again, a great photo opp missed. Grrr...
I have aerobics tonight. Dare I try again to go? I feel awful that I keep missing my classes, but at the same time, I lose interest about halfway through the semester every time. I don't know what my problem is. I need to get it together.
